We have had an exceptional year of growth and change in 2012! The Division continues to grow, our cadets are evolving and maturing and the future is a bright one indeed! I am happy to see us moving in our current heading and look forward to our best year ever.

Let's all remember we live to serve.............to serve our family, our community, our city, our state and our country and our world. We have all been given a unique venue with which to express ourselves so let's make the most of it.

I also need to remind EVERYONE that we as Sea Cadets live to a higher standard and there are 3 things which we CANNOT and WILL NOT tolerate meaning there is a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY in place and they are the following:

SEX
DRUGS
ALCOHOL

If you are caught or even suspected of any of these behaviors these are grounds for IMMEDIATE removal from the program. Only the CO and the Regional Director may intervene at that point. We only do this because quite frankly that is who we are...........these are the rules and if you don't like them you can leave. I have NO tolerance for anyone breaking the rules of our Corps so don't even try. If you feel it necessary then this IS NOT the place for you.

That being said, please remember we are only trying to help you avoid the common pitfalls of your generation. We as adults have all been there and seen what damage it can cause in a young persons life............I cannot begin to tell you how many of my friend's lives were completely RUINED because they couldn't handle any or all of the vices we strictly prohibit.

Now on a more positive note...................Camp Spehar is rolling along and we as a Division will be exposed like never before this coming Sunday May 20th. We have the honor of hosting Mr. Patrick Spehar Father of SO Nicholas Spehar of Navy SEAL TEAM 5. We will be honoring Nicholas by hosting his Father and thanking him for all his Son sacrificed for a grateful nation. Please remember to bring your A game, we want to welcome Mr. Spehar accordingly.

Thank you all for your time and energy devoted to making our Division THE BEST in the Country..............we have a long way to go but have proven we ARE to be reckoned with.
